Abstract: This research examines the impact of microlearning on adult education, focusing on the effectiveness of short, focused learning sessions in improving knowledge retention and skill acquisition among adult learners. The study aimed to evaluate the benefits of microlearning in adult education, to identify the most effective microlearning strategies, and to assess the challenges faced by learners in microlearning environments. A survey research design was chosen to collect data from participants engaged in microlearning programs, providing detailed insights into their experiences. A sample size of 250 adult learners was selected for the study. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals who have experienced microlearning. The case study was conducted in Abuja, Nigeria, where microlearning is increasingly adopted in corporate and educational settings. Findings revealed that microlearning significantly enhanced knowledge retention and skill acquisition, with participants reporting improved engagement and flexibility. However, challenges such as limited content depth and technological barriers were identified. The study recommended expanding the availability of microlearning resources and addressing technological challenges to support effective microlearning.
